Timberfill® feels, smells, and looks genuinely like wood. This filament is relatively easy to print although be sure to use a bigger nozzle diameter when printing with this (at least 0.5mm, ideally bigger). Compared to standard wood materials it is NOT abrasive. It is made from a mixture of biopolymers filled with 15% natural fibers isolated from spruce. The material exhibits similar mechanical features as PLA. Like PLA, it can be biodegraded using an industrial composter. Please note that the color tone can slightly vary due to the natural origin of the material.

Ako skladovať filamenty?
Vlhkosť a UV žiarenie môžu časom znížiť kvalitu filamentov a oslabiť ich mechanické vlastnosti. Odporúčame skladovať otvorené filamenty na suchom a tmavom mieste. Kompletný návod ako správne skladovať filamenty nájdete tu.
Kde vyhodiť nepodarky a supporty?
Prosíme našich zákazníkov, aby s plastovým odpadom nakladali zodpovedne. Nepodarené výtlačky, podporný materiál, raft či brim by mali byť zlikvidované podľa miestnych smerníc. Paradoxne, vo väčšine prípadov je lepšie tento odpad vyhodiť do bežného odpadkového koša, pretože väčšina odpadu z 3D tlače nie je identifikovaný, čo spôsobuje v zariadeniach na triedenie odpadu viac problémov ako úžitku.

Features:
- Can be easily post-processed using standard sandpaper
- Possible to stain after printing
- Very low tendency to warp or shrink
- Can be printed well at high speeds (actually it's recommended as the natural fibers may start to degrade/burn at slower speeds which could lead to nozzle jam)
- Rigid, not easily bendable (mechanically feels like PLA)
- Low brittleness in bulk object
- Safe to use in electrical and electronic equipment
