Ako skladovať filamenty?
Vlhkosť a UV žiarenie môžu časom znížiť kvalitu filamentov a oslabiť ich mechanické vlastnosti. Odporúčame skladovať otvorené filamenty na suchom a tmavom mieste. Kompletný návod ako správne skladovať filamenty nájdete tu.
Kde vyhodiť nepodarky a supporty?
Prosíme našich zákazníkov, aby s plastovým odpadom nakladali zodpovedne. Nepodarené výtlačky, podporný materiál, raft či brim by mali byť zlikvidované podľa miestnych smerníc.

Printability of PETG filament
PETG is such a popular filament for a lot of reasons. It has a perfect interlayer adhesion without a heated chamber (which is often a problem compared, for instance, to ABS). Its flawless and continuous nozzle flow combined with zero warp makes it a perfect partner for long print jobs and for printing large objects without the need for a heated chamber. For those reasons, PETG is the bestselling material across the FDM 3D printing industry. Compared to PLA, PETG tends to string a little bit, a problem that can be easily fixed by tweaking your retraction settings.
PETG mechanical and thermal properties
PETG is the perfect combination of the mechanical goodness of ABS and the ease of printing of PLA. It is tougher than PLA, meaning that it doesn't crack as easily when under pressure. It also has improved impact resistance and thermal resistance of 73°C. Imagine the mechanical properties of a PET plastic bottle; that should give you a reasonable illustration of the strength of this material.
Tips and other notable benefits
Raw PETG is glossy, and so, if not explicitly specified otherwise in the short product description, the surface finish will be glossy. This property can be slightly tweaked by adjusting the cooling fan speed; the more you cool, the more matt will be the finished part. On the other hand, the less you cool the print, the stronger it will be.
PETG has such a wide range of applications, that for instance, it is highly probable that your 3D printer has parts printed from PETG. This material is odorless, and generally speaking, it is okay to use it in contact with food. (Although not every manufacturer provides a certificate for food compliance. Also, please note that for use in official applications you would need to re-certify it, more here). While printing with PETG, no toxic fumes or vapor are released like with ABS.
PolyMaker is a premium quality 3D printing filament manufacturer. They're known for "hacking" 3D printing materials where their materials overtake any competition. With 7 registered technologies, their 3D printing filaments widen the range of applications of any desktop 3D printer. One of the most interesting is PolySmooth's layer-free technology, where when combined with the Polysher, you can obtain a perfectly smooth and perfectly layer-free print. Recently, PolyMaker decided to lower its impact on the planet and released PolyTerra™, an ecological breakthrough among filaments, where the filament, the package, and the spool are biodegradable. In addition, a tree is planted for each sold filament!
Material Comparison Chart
A comprehensive and extremely valuable resource provided by PolyMaker is the comparison chart. The chart is a true goldmine allowing easy comparison between materials with each mechanical and thermal property. It also includes data about the ease of printing.
Print Profiles
On Polymaker's download page you can find print profiles for most commercial 3D printers like Prusa, Flashforge, Raise3D, Ultimaker, Lulzbot.. also tweaked for different slicers, like Prusa Slicer, Cura or even IdeaMaker.
