Polyflex™ TPU 95A-HF | Polymaker™
This filament was enginered to enable printing flexible filaments more quickly. With increased flow properties, this in the first flexible filament on the market that is able to print at speeds up to 100mm/s. This features makes this material a good choice for printing series of flexible objects. Unlike other flexible filaments, the high flow properties of PolyFlex TPU95-HF allows it to have a more consistent extrusion rate, similar to hard materials. Polyflex™ TPU 95A-HF is also UV resistant.

Ako skladovať filamenty?
Vlhkosť a UV žiarenie môžu časom znížiť kvalitu filamentov a oslabiť ich mechanické vlastnosti. Odporúčame skladovať otvorené filamenty na suchom a tmavom mieste. Kompletný návod ako správne skladovať filamenty nájdete tu.
Kde vyhodiť nepodarky a supporty?
Prosíme našich zákazníkov, aby s plastovým odpadom nakladali zodpovedne. Nepodarené výtlačky, podporný materiál, raft či brim by mali byť zlikvidované podľa miestnych smerníc.

PolyFlex™ TPU95-HF has a carefully chosen shore hardness which allows it to not stretch excessively when pulled by the extruder which could results in under extrusion issues. This feature ensures consistent extrusion, even at very high speeds. PolyFlex™ TPU95-HF can handle similar retraction settings as rigid/hard materials.
Všeobecné informácie o TPU :
TPU or thermoplastic polyurethane is a common flexible material often confused with TPE. TPU is a type of TPE. Recently, “TPU”, both as a term and as a material, has been gaining popularity over “TPE”. In today’s 3D printing scene, most flexible offerings are TPU-based materials, with TPE having fallen largely out of favor due to difficulties faced while printing. There are different versions of TPU material but in the main, it can be classed into two types. Firstly known as Polyether Polyurethane and secondly Polyester Polyurethane. Both have different characteristics that can be suited to a specific need.
Printability of TPU filament
TPU filaments are claimed to have a better printability than TPE filaments. Still, you need to take similar preventive measures as with TPE. The best results when printing with TPU will be seen when printing with a slow and consistent speed. As TPU has a high level of elasticity, it can mean that any sudden changes can cause a loss of control in the print speed. Fast print speeds can result in the filament compressing and will lead to a jam. Concluding: slow and steady is the best approach to take when printing TPU. The recommended printing speed is 5-40 mm/s (higher for harder filaments, lower for softer materials).
TPU mechanical and thermal properties
In certain blends, it can become very soft, but TPU material offers many benefits and features. 3D printed parts with TPU are durable and have the ability to withstand ambient temperatures of up to 80 degrees Celsius. TPU is very elastic ranging from 600 to 700%. It has increased chemical resistance to oils and greases. It also has an excellent interlayer adhesion and no curling or delamination during the 3D printing process.
PolyMaker is a premium quality 3D printing filament manufacturer. They're known for "hacking" 3D printing materials where their materials overtake any competition. With 7 registered technologies, their 3D printing filaments widen the range of applications of any desktop 3D printer. One of the most interesting is PolySmooth's layer-free technology, where when combined with the Polysher, you can obtain a perfectly smooth and perfectly layer-free print. Recently, PolyMaker decided to lower its impact on the planet and released PolyTerra™, an ecological breakthrough among filaments, where the filament, the package, and the spool are biodegradable. In addition, a tree is planted for each sold filament!

A comprehensive and extremely valuable resource provided by PolyMaker is the comparison chart. The chart is a true goldmine allowing easy comparison between materials with each mechanical and thermal property. It also includes data about the ease of printing.
